Hi subscribers, just a catch up from me. I hope you liked the teaser of chapters given to you in my last two blogs. This is not the end of course and I have written my first 10,000 words. Whether it eventually gets published is down to whether I retire or continue working; so my time is pretty much determined by whatever is in the cards, as Sienna Haile would say in my first of three novels about Winchester detective Alex Reyes.
Coming up in the next blog (December) is my traditional Ghost Story for Christmas entitled "Dead Shift" inspired by my step daughter Catherine who is 27 today - Happy Birthday Catherine.

So Many Rainbows
The year is going, going and almost gone,
The climate change wont last now that Donald has won,
So many people lost to so many wars.
So many inconsistencies in Tottenham's scores.
Its lucky for me when the year ends in jokes,
After visiting Lisbon, I met some brilliant folks !
Looking back is never a good idea=
Just keep moving forward to another year.
Perhaps there will be peace and good will to everyone
When the rainbows disappear and another year has begun.
So many rainbows though, wrap up warm, rake up the leaves
What more can happen - ah yes, there's Rachel Reeves!
