I caught the news on Sunday and in an article in the Times there had been a poll conducted on who has been currently voted as the best James Bond, (again).
Of course, it was always Sean Connery but since Amazon Prime released all 27 films on their streaming platform people have strangely voted for someone else.
Years ago I did my university cultural thesis on James Bond studying for my BA in the Arts . So when I read this article, I thought it was ideal time for me to select the next person, who will take up the iconic role.
Of course James Bond will return and yes of course, we all know, by now, what happened in ’No Time to Die’ - but HIS life can,unlike us mere mortals, be resurrected. Maybe as a younger version or something entirely different.
So, like the 'Time Lord' he has become he will also be reincarnated again - film goers will see him again; but, who will be next in line ?

Roger was fun, as a ‘Saint’ was born
Born in Scotland, raised in Skyfall
Never won a lottery, only Thunderball
And the tunes we made, made the theme survive
Through Shirley and Sheena they kept me alive
They voted once before, and there was no doubt
I was shaken not stirred that Sean won out
Surely Daniel or Timothy, Craig or Dalton had force?
Not Lazenby or Niven they didn’t run the course
